Solite 6mm Custom Pro Wetsuit Boot

2019 6MM CUSTOM PRO

Our obsession with booties means the lightest, best-performing boot on the market has stepped up several notches for Fall 2018, featuring improved board feel, grip, flexibility, comfort, and durability. How'd we make the world's best boot even better?

1. Our natural rubber sole pods are made with a softer, tackier, more flexible compound for improved traction both on a board and on slippery rocks.

2. Our heat-moldable Thermo Foam has also been updated with a softer, more comfortable formula which stays soft in colder temps.

3. We have completely redesigned our velcro ankle strap, co-molding the textile strap to the rubber sole and introducing a flexible, durable Tatex-coated hook strap for a stronger hold.

Sizing Tip: Order your regular shoe size or 1/2 size down. For example, if you are a size 10.5, order a 10. Women should order 1-1.5 sizes lower to convert from Men's sizing. So if you are a Women's 8, order a Men's 7. If you are a Women's 8.5, also order a Men's 7. HOWEVER: If you are going to use 1mm Neoprene Heat Booster Socks inside your boots, we recommend buying your regular shoe size or 1/2 size UP to allow extra room for the socks.

Recommended Water Temps: 30-50F. NOTE: For water temps lower than 40F, we highly recommend using our 1mm Neoprene Heat Booster Socks inside your 6mm Custom Pro boots. The 1mm Neoprene Heat Booster socks take up a little more space than the knit Heat Booster socks, so we suggest sizing UP 1/2 size to accommodate the thicker socks.

HEAT MOLDING INSTRUCTION        Solite Boots are the world's first and only custom, heat-moldable watersports footwear. Custom fitting can be done in your kitchen with nothing more than a kettle of boiling water. To heat-mold your Solite boots, watch the video below and follow the instructions carefully. Do not use any other methods of heat molding except boiling water. Use of ovens, microwaves, heat guns, etc. will void your warranty.

    Heat Molding Step-By-Step

    1. Fill a tea kettle with water and heat to a boil.
    2. While water is heating, roll down the cuffs of your wetsuit boots and place them in the sink.
    3. If you have Solite Heat Booster socks, put them on your feet.
    4. Once the water is boiling, pour it into your boots, filling each to the seam where the neoprene upper is attached to the sole. Wait 5 minutes for the boiling water to soften the sole material.
    5. After 5 minutes, carefully pour the hot water out of the boots, and quickly rinse out the inside of the boots with cold water to lower the surface temperature and prevent burning your feet.
    6. Put each boot on your feet. Make sure your big-toe sits comfortably in the toe cavity and your heel is flush in the heel pocket.
    7. Secure ankle straps if your boots have them.
    8. Sit in a chair with the boots on and wait 5-10 minutes as the boots cool down and form to your feet.
    9. Once the wetsuit boots have cooled to room temperature, the molding process is complete.
    10. If you are unhappy with the fit, you can re-mold the boots following the same steps.
