Carver C7 Serape Complete

The Serape, which is the Spanish name for the traditional Mexican blanket they use in SoCal for everything from Hot Rod seat covers to beach blankets, is one of their new incremental length short boards which fills in the gaps between whole-number sizes. Since the quickest pumping comes from smaller boards they have added numerous in-between sizes so you can really dial in your selection. For this model they wanted a small template with a longer wheelbase, so you get the performance of a slightly longer board with a smaller, lighter deck. They were inspired by the short, wide-tailed surfboards we use for carving and air tricks crossover popular in Ventura county. The short length gives you that snappy pump and carve, while the wide tail gives you plenty of leverage to dig deep with your rear foot for powerful turns, and boost big airs with a solid take off and landing platform.
