The FCD Surfboards Quark is a versatile, modern cross between a fish and a shortboard.  The FCD Quark, like all FCD surfboards, is made using extruded polystyrene blanks and epoxy resins.  This combination of materials makes strong, lighweight and sensitive surfboards that are a joy to ride.  The FCD Quark is no exception. This would be an ideal board for waist high and clean to overhead and sloppy and almost everything in between!

 More versatile than a twin-fin, the Quark has been surfed all over the world in conditions – and pulled off maneuvers – that a fish couldn’t handle. It works best in 1- to 8-foot surf. With a skatey feel, it surfs circles around standard shortboards in lousy windswell. In larger surf it’s just as fast and maneuverable with no sacrifice in performance.

This board can be purchased as a tri fin, quad or "quint", it's all up to you.  For an East Coaster, this could be your go to board for the daily sesh!
